Cooling Towers with the Best performance

We have over 800 Installations of Cooling Towers of Various designs with majority taking place in sectors like Steel & Power, Chemical and Paper, Edible Oil, Distilleries & Sugar, Cement, Petro Chemicals, Fertlizers etc…….
SVCT India, designs and Executes high capacity Industrial Cooling Towers. The maximum sizes now-a-days being installed are available till 4500 CMH in a single cell.
These are field erected cooling towers, with dispatches taking place in completely knocked down condition from our Ghaziabad Unit. The dispatch is followed by our teams of trained skilled erection crew. Apart from RCC / Civil Part in cooling towers, all the components are manufactured / fabricated inside our plant premises.
The mechanical are tested beforehand at our works before dispatch clearance, to ensure flawless installation and performance at site.
Our deliveries are punctual and installations executed timely with emphasis on safety, accuracy and quality.

CONSULTANCY

Being in a Constantly Changing Environment, with vast growing experience, we offer product related consultancy services to wide variety of departments & customers. Our Designed Cooling towers always offer the best performance. While we do offer design consultancy and troubleshooting with assured returns, correct data collection forms a very essential part of our Requirements. Incorrect  / Vague data is a common reason for incomplete response from SVCT Design Teams.

Since Cooling Towers are Designed for Worst Conditions in terms of Extreme Climatic Conditions, Data collected and Submitted should be provided for same time period and given Duty Conditions.

In absence of data, Extrapolation is not recommended.

TYPE OF  COOLING TOWERS BASED ON DESIGN

Based on customer / site requirements, we are able to offer Cross Flow / Counter Flow / Counter-Cross design Cooling Towers. Designing is a crucial part of the whole process, and for this maximum & accurate data is sought for by our representatives. In case any customer faces difficulty, they are welcome to seek guidance from us.

Some of the Parameters required are

  1. Hourly Water Flow,
  2. Cooling Tower Inlet Temperature (Hot Water Temperature),
  3. Cooling Tower Outlet Temperature (Cold Water Temperature),
  4. Design Wet Bulb Temperature,
  5. Space Constraints if any, etc.

In this design Air & Water meet when, the air is Flowing Horizontally & Water is Falling down Due to Gravity,

Particularly suitable for Contaminated Water / Air / Environment, using correct Splash Design Fill. This design handles (to a greater extent) water flow variation better than a Counter Flow Design.

Strengths:

  1. Maintenance: Easier access for inspection and cleaning via an open gravity-fed distribution basin, even during operation,
  2. Operation: Handles variable water flow and turndown better,
  3. Lower pump pressure reduces overall energy use,

Drawbacks:

  1. Larger lateral ground footprint,
  2. Mayne costlier than standard counter flow model,

In this design Air & Water meet when, the air is Rising & Water is Falling Due to Gravity,

  • Used with film fill (PVC honeycomb fill packs) for cleaner water without any depositing carry over,
  • Used with splash fill for dirty water or air or  environment,

Strengths:

  1. Efficiency : Higher thermal efficiency allows for closer approach temperatures due to maximized air-water contact time.
  2. Footprint : Smaller ground footprint, but requires a taller vertical structure. Hence more useful with compact fill design like honeycomb type,
  3. Honeycomb fill design, makes your Cooling Tower compact & efficient,

Drawbacks:

  1. Higher pump head energy requirements If using splash fill,
  2. Harder internal maintenance access, and
  3. Prone to water Channeling at low flow rates (<70%).

SMALLEST TO BIGGEST – 50 CMH TO 4500 CMH PER CELL

Both Counter & Cross Flow Designs are available in various MoC.
Sizes of the Units are based on design and MoC is decided based on Site Conditions / Water Conditions, Space & Time Available, Preferences and the Cost Factor ………….
